The Explorers Club Restaurant is pictured here with its original signage and decoration. It was later converted into Colonel Hathi’s Pizza Outpost, its colonial table service and overgrown tree of singing birds making way for quick counter service food to fill the park’s burgeoning requirements — table service needs having been somewhat over provided-for from the start.
