Just after opening in April 1992, Adventureland looks very different to the land of later years, when its thousands of trees fully grew-in. From this elevated vantage point on Adventure Isle, the steps which lead to Le Pont Suspendu, the fresh red roof of the Explorers Club is a vibrant beacon in the middle of the green jungle.

Notice the raft scene in the foreground, which would go through numerous changes of the years but never again as visible as this, soon surrounded by trees and plants. The stone bridge is now almost entirely surrounded by plants on both sides, offering no view whatsoever towards Adventure Isle in this direction.
