Where now you can buy pins and ice cream from the windows of the towering, elaborately-themed Franklin Department Store, part of Hollywood Boulevard, upon opening in 2002 this empty space featured one sole attraction:  A photo backdrop and larger-than-life figure of Flik from Pixar’s ‘A Bug’s Life’.

The photo location was later replaced by one featuring a giant Bruce the shark from Finding Nemo.
