For a short period, the resort followed the tactics Walt Disney World had employed for many years and offered visitors from the UK a free Holiday Planning DVD.

Originally delivered on its own, and later with the Sping / Summer 2005 Holiday Brochure, it provides a brief overview of each park and the Disney Hotels, along with features such as “interactive” maps.

The featurettes on the DVD run for only 2 to 3 minutes each and were compiled from old film footage, with a new voiceover narration added on top. Since they were pulled from the resort’s video archive library, they inadvertently provide some brilliant snapshots from long before 2005, as early as 1992…
