The Winter low season at Disneyland Park, just one year before the opening of Walt Disney Studios Park. Inside, we find in hindsight a rather funny way to sell the half-closure of the park each morning as some kind of benefit or special event. “Enter Stage Right” saw only Discoveryland and Fantasyland opened each morning, with Frontierland and Adventureland opening later in the day. This was done due to very low midweek attendance at this time of year. Despite this, the park had quite an impressive entertainment programme each day. Mulan: The Legend was in Videopolis Theatre, Mickey’s Winter Wonderland at the Chaparral, Main Street Electrical Parade every single night (it used to run from the start of Christmas right up to the end of March), Mickey’s Toon Time (similar to Good Morning Main Street) each morning and particularly of note, some of the final performances of Disney’s ImagiNations Parade, before it was pulled from service for the older but more character-heavy Wonderful World of Disney Parade. |
