The first Cast Member magazine of the new Millennium recounts with some brilliant photos not only the grand celebrations of New Year’s Eve but the fierce storm which had ripped through the resort just a few days earlier, causing massive damage to Davy Crockett Ranch, rooftops and temporary structures. The middle pages provide some wonderful photos of the park’s Millennium events which continued without hitch, centred around a huge stage structure built on Central Plaza just for the occasion.
