1994 Euro Disneyland Paris Mini Brochure

1994 Mini Brochure

Printed in April 1994, this French mini brochure in leaflet format would have been one of the first documents to feature the new ‘Euro Disneyland Paris’ name, the second step in the gradual change to Disneyland Paris.

Through some brilliant colours and photography, the brochure introduces the newest attractions (including Nautilus — “Coming Soon”) and has pages for each of the resort hotels.

Seen above at the far end of Festival Disney are the illuminated Los Angeles Bar & Grill (now CafĂ© Mickey) and Key West Seafood (now Rainforest Cafe) signs. Rock ‘n’ Roll America, the 50s theme bar which had been converted from a boutique the year earlier, is featured as an inset.

The main image of Hotel Cheyenne (above) is a very early photograph of the hotel, showing the streets as sandy, Western tracks suitable for horses and carts. Soon after the hotel’s opening, this discovered to be impractical and most of the tracks were covered in asphalt to leave just a small strip along the main street.

Hotel New York is seen above in its original colour scheme with blues in place of reds, whilst the area around the ice skating rink is used as outside dining space.
