For their sponsorship of Le Visioniarum in Discoveryland, Renault’s leading engineers were asked by Walt Disney Imagineering to envisage a personal vehicle of the far future to star in the film’s closing scenes and be featured at the attraction’s entrance.

Since the closure of Le Visionarium in September 2004 (the building now houses Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast), the full-scale model of the Reinastella situated at the entrance has made numerous motor show appearances and continues to be appreciated by Disney fans and car lovers alike for its spectacular, visionary design.
