With exactly one year to go, the opening date of Euro Disney Resort is announced: 12th April 1992. A grand ceremony in Fantasia Gardens, in front of the under-construction facade of Disneyland Hotel sees 1,727 Cast Members launch the countdown in matching “Euro Disney – 1992″ sweatshirts and hard hats. Sabine Marcon, named as the resort’s first ambassador for 1991-1992, leads the ceremonies.
