Euro Disney sets a new attendance record with the highest single day attendance during the month of March for any Disney theme park yet, recording 50,000 guests in the park on Sunday 7th March 1993. Euro Disneyland was forced to close its gates as the park reached capacity — a first for the season — and attendance forecasts suggested even higher turnouts for the following two weekends thanks to successful marketing campaigns.
