Two floats celebrating The Lion King make their debut in the daily parade, actually premiering as part of The Christmas Parade. Characters animating the floats include grinning hyenas and roller-skating beetles. Walk-around characters from the films, such as Timon and Rafiki, do not make their debut at the park until April.
