Space Festival launched

Disneyland Paris capitalises on the success of Space Mountain: De la Terre à la Lune with a whole Space Festival, centred on Discoveryland, from 26th August to 5th November 1995. Videopolis is transformed into a “space centre” housing vehicles used in the American Apollo missions, the Russian Mir and Soyuz programmes and European Space Agency flights. The Rock Shock show returns to the theatre for a limited engagement.

The main event of the festival will be a live link-up between Disneyland Paris and the Mir space station on 7th October 1995, with 600 European children communicating directly from the resort with the astronauts on board.
