One month before the European premiere of new Disney feature animation Pocahontas, two floats celebrating the film are added to La Parade Disney, the park’s daily parade. Whilst one is simply a re-dressing of Captain Hook’s ship as John Smith’s ship, the Susan Constant, the other is a brand new float featuring Grandmother Willow and Pocahontas herself riding on a canoe atop a rising river bend. The spectacular float is 6.5 metres high and 8.5 metres long.
