The first new daily Summer firework spectacular since the park’s original Fantasia in the Sky show premieres. Featuring an original soundtrack created by musical director Vasile Sirli, Tinkerbell’s Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks would go on to run for a record 7 years with numerous changes along the way. Originally premiering with a “live” Tinkerbell flying up and down a wire connected to Sleeping Beauty Castle, “lighting up” areas of the park as she flew, the show would even be given a special Lion King encore in its final year for the opening of The Legend of the Lion King show at Videopolis Theatre.

Wishes replaced the show in 2005, though it returned in a slightly different format for some early Summer weekends in 2006. The music lived on in 2011, used as part of the Following the Leader with Peter Pan show in Adventureland.
